Tag Art and Vintage Items Put in a Old Jar

I love to use the shipping Tags in Artwork. My daughter and
I made these two tags and they turned out so pretty


This is a old jar I fill with old sewing spools
Old lace and ribbons and anything I could find
I do like to fill Vintage Jars up with lots of small
Items I have that need to find a home and I always
call canning with fun things into ART

I did not have the lid to this so I use a tiny plate with flowers
added some vintage lace to make a bow around the top

I use a paper towel roll in the middle to get the Items
to show up on the outside it works for me and it saves
items for another jar! I love to fill jars it's so much fun!

I added one of my Tag Art to give a cute look the
Old tag of Love makes the world go around I have
Had for years it has a cute pin on it too. There is
a Tiny Teddy Bear in the top on the other side
some vintage flowers I have been collecting
and some vintage buttons to add as fillers

This another Tag I made for my daughter to use
She and I love to craft our Art together sometimes

Some fun with the Art of Mixed Media and Assemblages

This is one of kind hang tag art....
It is a sweet mother and daughter hang tag
That I have added to another one I cut out like a dress form
added stain of dark ink, old song scrap, vintage button,
scrapbook flower, pink crepe paper for ruffle, and some
Pink beads....and then add a touch of giltter.....
I do like making hang tag art...

This is and assemblage of an vintage type fan

It has a vintage photo from an vintage Magazine

I added ribbons and vintage button with little bings

also a few vintage flowers

Sweet vintage type postcard

a darling Vintage pink Hanky,
Vintage pink seam lace tape,

Old vintage pink zipper,

Paper Roses and sweet vintage flowers

There are three cute pink vintage buttons...

A little back ground of scrap paper with postcards

Place in a wooden box painted gold....It can stand on it own

or I can hang it on the wall.....

This is a cute picture of cut out Wall paper chickens

I have had this paper for along time...I wish I had gotten

more rolls of it...It is super cute to cut the chickens out

For some cute artwork.....I added all this to a dark frame

that had the black and white checker blocks and the

stripes of red and white....My daughter loves chickens

and she took this home with her.....

This is a vintage sewing basket that I have added some

Vintage sewing treasures to it.....

and a darling little doll and bear

adds to this sweet look....I pin them all

on with pearl pins...so they can be removed

if needed to change the look.....I find these pins works

well in my fun artwork........

I love this old board it is part of an old vintage door

and it color is the color it was painted long ago...
I love this old sage green....I have added feedsack quilt

Heart and vintage fabric yo yo's a few cute buttons, old

sewing wood spool and big gold safety pin and

very old photo of a super cute boy and darling

baby of the Late 1800's.....sitting in an old wicker child chair

The word Antiques fits this Collage Assemblage...

This was an old cookbook and it needed a new cover

So I took another book board and cover it added

vintage printed photos and lace and yo yo's also

some cute pearl type buttons one is a little heart....

then tied it with a brown vintage type ribbon...

Ta da it was finished.....

THIS PILLOW WAS MADE FROM THE BACK OF AN VINTAGE DRESS FORM THE LATE 1980'S REMEMBER ALL THE FLOWERS OF THAT STYLE AND TIME..IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN IN EARLY 1990'S TOO...I STARTED GATHERING THESE DRESSES FROM RESALES, AROUND 2001....LOVED THE BIG FLOWERS....AND COLORS ARE SO BRIGHT AND PRETTY...I HAVE LOTS OF THESE DRESSES TO WORK WITH...AND PLAN TO SELL SOME OF THE FABRIC IN MY ETSY SHOPS...

AS YOU CAN SEE I TOOK THE SKIRT OF THIS DRESS PUT AROUND A TALL STOOL AND PADDED THE TOP FOR THAT SWEET SOFT LOOK....RECYCLING FABRICS INTO SOMETHING LOVELY AND FUN......

WHEN I FIRST STARTED GOING TO THESE RESALE SHOP'S...I WAS LOOKING FOR VINTAGE LACE AND BUTTONS...I FOUND SO MANY BEAUTIFUL DRESSES AND THE MATERIAL OF THE LOVELY FLOWERS CAUGHT MY EYE...I LOVE THE SHABBY COTTAGE STYLE LOOK OF ROSES...

I ADDED A HEART PEARL BUTTON IT WAS ALSO ONE OF MY VINTAGE BUTTON FINDS...I ALSO TOOK A PIECE OF THE DRESS MATERIAL AND MADE A SOME YO YO'S AND ADDED A SWEET RIBBON ROSES...IF YOU LOOK CLOSER AT THE TOP OF PILLOW YOU WILL SEE THAT'S THE BUTTONS THAT WERE ON THIS DRESS..THE BACK OF THE DRESS IS THE PART THIS PILLOW IS MADE FROM...

COLORS ARE OFF WHITE, LIGHT AND DARK ROSE, LIGHT AND DARK JADE GREEN AND LITTLE BLUE FLOWERS AND A LITTLE TOUCH OF LT GOLD...I ADDED SOME LACE AND A LACE BOW WITH SOME PEARLS...A LITTLE CROCHET DOILIE BEHIND ONE OF THE YO YO'S...TOOK A LITTLE STRING OF PREALS AND ADDED THEM...I LIKE PEARLS AND USED THEM TO DECORATE AROUND MY HOME...THE VINTAGE PEARLS ARE MY FAVORITES....I HANG THEM FROM MIRRORS AND DRAPED THEM ON PICTURES...THE ONES ON THIS PILLOW ARE THE KIND YOU BUY TO CRAFT WITH....THE VINTAGE EVENING PEARL BAG OR PURSE IS ANOTHER ITEM I LIKE TO COLLECT...
